Weekly Assignment #2

Before and After Photoshop Assignment.

This is just an example. I do not expect this level up detail, BUT I thought it would be a good way to show what I am talking about with this assignment. The first picture was just some average picture. The second picture added the cast of ET over top the face of the characters, and messed with the lighting to give off a feeling that it was a scene in the movie. This scene contains 5 distinct changed elements from the original. Each changed character counts as 1 element, and the changes to the background count as another.

This is how the grading will work:

1 change = 7 pts.
2 changes = 8 pts.
3 changes = 9 pts.
4 changes = 10 pts.

If you just go for the bare minimum of 1 change, that change HAS to involve bringing an element from another picture into your original picture.

Beyond that, changes can involve altering the scene using methods we have already covered in class, or any other methods you may already know about.

STATE how many changes you have made to your original picture (and I stress it can be ANY picture, not just the one from above).

When you post your assignment on the blog, be sure that you include the original picture as well as the altered picture. They can be separate this time, like I have done above. Be sure to have your name somewhere on the picture.

Have Fun!!

(if you have any issues, post them as a comment on the problems post above this post.)
